Bombshell: Unexploded bombs found during the war were then described as "light blue". But the large P.u.W. Bombs (50kg, 100kg, 300kg and 1000kg) in the „Army Museum Brusseles“ seems medium to light gray in their original paint, which is also suggested by some contemporary photos. So here is a certain scope in the color possible. Furthermore, there are a few pictures on which also 20- centner test bombs (bomb test department Frankfurt a.d.O.) are to be seen in a special paint. Quartered in black and white and in at least one case with the slogan: „Ich bin ein Preusse! / "I am a Prussian".
In general, the bombs on many old photos almost always give a "used" impression with a scratched surface and chipped edges.
